A life sign? That's an understatement, we got several!
Things can happen... FAST.
You know the phrase "Life got in the way"? That actually does not apply to our situation. Life did not get in our way, it rather rammed into us like a wrecking ball and shuffled some priorities anew. To cut this juggling of metaphors short: We have kids now, YAY!!
But that doesn't mean we gave up on our monumental (to us at least) endeavor to create an awesome old-school adventure game with fun new ideas in a modern setting called THE FUNNY BONEYARD. We kept on writing and scripting the last year through, while also keeping the bright sun out of our babies eyes and well-tempered bottles in their mouths. Now we even got some back-up help with the crunch. And using a program called Dialog Designer (nicely compatible with AGS) we are implementing the game's already finished screenplays and dialogue trees at least 50% faster.
About that, and the reason for this weird flaunty cover image, here's a fun fact: A lot of this dialogue designing (which demands no processing power at all) is being done on a computer with this monstrous high-end GPU inside. Isn't that some lovely irony? Even the fastest or most powerful hardware can't help you write funnier jokes or work over pixel animation better.
We might have to face a delay, but we can't wait to finish the full game as soon as possible and show it to as many people as possible, preferably even in person in safe surroundings.
Later friends, jZ

Any new life sign in 2023? :)
Funny you should ask -- yet more kids seem to have appeared, impeding progress somewhat :D But even if delayed, the Boneyard is alive!
That's good news (in both ways) -- all the best :)
